Our History
As part of AMMI Group, we are dedicated to creating plastic transformation solutions. Today we process more than 60,000 tons of resin per year, establishing ourselves as a reference in the industry.
Our goal is to achieve leadership in America as the largest plastic transformer, with a focus on material handling products and a growth strategy that doubles the business value every five years.
Each project seeks to respond to our clients' specific needs through plastic transformation and material handling solutions with social responsibility, generating value and cost leadership.

What do we do at PTM?
At PTM, we are dedicated to providing customized plastic transformation solutions and projects tailored to our clients' needs.
Extrusion

In this process, the thermoplastic is heated above its melting point. Once the material is sufficiently fluid, it is transported under high pressure through a die to a roller system.
Injection

This process involves heating the thermoplastic above its melting point and then injecting it under pressure into a mold. Once inside, the heat is removed, allowing the plastic to solidify and form the final product.
Blow Molding

This process uses air pressure to expand a softened thermoplastic 'sleeve' into the cavity of a mold.
Thermoforming

In this process, a thermoplastic sheet is heated until softened. Then, through mechanical assistance, vacuum action, or both, it is shaped to the form of a mold. Once in the mold, the heat is removed, allowing the plastic to solidify and form the final product.
