Plásticos Técnicos Mexicanos has over five decades of experience and innovation in plastics transformation. Founded in 1976 and located in San Juan del Río, Querétaro, our company specializes in developing custom plastic solutions tailored to our clients' needs, providing support to diverse industries. Our commitment to quality is backed by certifications that guarantee the highest standards in every process.
What we do
At PTM we are dedicated to providing custom plastic transformation solutions, designed to meet the specific needs of each client. With a focus on social responsibility and cost efficiency, we generate value and leadership in every project.
Our facilities
We have a production plant in San Juan del Río, Querétaro, equipped with injection machines from 700 to 2,300 tons, monolayer and trilayer extrusion, thermoforming, and recycling and pelletizing systems. Our infrastructure includes washing, mixing and homogenization lines, mills and shredders up to 2,000 kg/h, and materials characterization and mechanical testing laboratories, ensuring quality and performance in every product.
Our technology
We have extrusion processes, where molten thermoplastic is pressure-shaped through a die to obtain continuous forms; injection, where material is injected into a mold and solidifies to form the final product; blow molding, which uses pressurized air to expand softened plastic inside a mold to create hollow parts; and thermoforming, where a heated sheet adapts to the mold through vacuum and/or mechanical assistance until it solidifies.
